Mens 1st XV
Men's 1st XV beat Petersfield 59-5 at home on Saturday in front of a packed crowd. The ref called it at 60 mins, so it would have been a much higher score. This win confirms our 1st XV are promoted back to Hants Counties 1, and they only need 1 point away at Fordingbridge next week to become league champions. We would love to see as many there as possible to cheer on the lads.
On May 2nd, the men head to East Grinstead for the Quarter Finals with a place at Twickenham to play for in the finals
Womens 2nd XV
Women's 2nd XV went away to Wiveliscombe and won 22-31, becoming back-to-back league winners after only being promoted last season. A great way to finish the season and a massive achievement for all involved. Next season, they will play in NC1, and with a large group of U18S coming up next season, this should help strengthen an already great womens set up
Pirates and Sponsor Lunch
A full house at the last lunch of the season, and what a buzz it was in the clubhouse. With the Lunch at max capacity, as well as the lads and dads game taking place, raising money for the Simon says charity, really filled out the clubhouse on Saturday, and was a cracking day with cracking weather also to boot.
With the new development clubhouse nearly finished we look forward to a bigger and better set of lunches next season.
Thanks to the bar and kitchen staff as well as the U14's girls who were waitresses for the day
Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun, and thanks to Matt Reilly and John Reilly, Civil Engineers, for sponsoring the lunch and the MOTM
A great weekend for the club and for Trojans on and off the pitch
